Luree Scott is a writer and performer from San Diego, California. Her two great loves in this world, literature and theatre, have continually informed her work and education. She has a BA in Theatre Arts and English from the University of San Diego, and is currently an MFA candidate in UC Riverside's Low Residency program, where she has projects developing in both fiction and playwriting. She is also currently a co-editor of Fiction for The Coachella Review.

Upcoming Projects
Currently in the drafting phase of a full- length novel with lots of magic, wildlife, and explorations of family dynamics.

A full-length stage play is also under construction, all about one particular "monster" and her relationship with the human world.
